Free NHS services in Southport
Beyond Pharmacy First, St Marks Pharmacy runs a range of NHS services you can use without a GP appointment — blood pressure checks, the contraceptive pill, flu jabs, stop-smoking support, and help getting started on new medicines. Most are walk-in.
NHS care from your local pharmacy
You don’t always need a GP. Many everyday NHS services are now delivered by community pharmacies — faster to access, and free for everyone who is eligible.
Walk in to 42 Derby Road for any of the services below. Some, like the contraceptive pill, are done in our private consultation room. If you’d rather not wait, you can book a time slot in advance.
